George and Elizabeth had three sons The third, John, married Mabel Stewart He died in October 1985 and I made contact with his widow Mabel living in Aberdeen hoping for some further information on this branch of the family She was able to fill in some of the gaps for me although her late husband and his brother Alexander had not kept in touch She also stated she did not believe in "raking over the past"
